3-Way (The Golden Rule) Won Emmy Awards for “Original Text”


3-Way (The Golden Rule) won another Emmy Awards for “Original Text”. The song which was written by The Lonely Island and Timberlake on May 19, 2011, with a beat provided by The Futuristics with Ryan & Smitty and Asa Taccone get awarded for the first time.

The song and music video debuted on Saturday Night Live as an SNL Digital Short on May 21, 2011, which had Timberlake as the host and Gaga as the musical guest. It features Andy Samberg and Timberlake reprising their roles as a faux 1990s R&B duo previously seen in “Dick in A Box” and “Mother Lover” foraying into a threesome with a girl (Gaga).

The Monster Ball tour also won it’s first Emmy for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Special at last night’s Creative Arts Emmys. The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, September 18th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Lady Gaga is set to attend the award ceremony.
