Lady Gaga was performance artist Marina Abramović’s date for The 20th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit Saturday night. According to the press release, the night included “cocktails, a silent auction, performances, art installations, dinner, dancing and a live auction.” Funds raised at the night’s events go towards supporting “The Watermill Center’s year round Artist Residency Programs, providing a unique environment for young and emerging artists to explore and develop new work.”
Gaga is said to have spent the night drinking blood, tasting molasses off a nude woman in a tub, and bidding against famed art collector, Maya Hoffman on an “Art is Present” stone pillow created and used by Marina Abramović for $60,000.
