Lady Gaga to Perform at Sydney Town Hall

Lady Gaga is heading to Australia for a one-off concert in front of diehard fans - but she won't be making the trip across the Tasman. The pop sensation will transform Sydney's Town Hall into her own "monster hall" for the gig on Wednesday, July 13.

Fewer than 1000 fans, famously known to Lady Gaga as her "little monsters," will be invited to the intimate show. The flying visit has been arranged to promote Lady Gaga's new album Born This Way, released last week, and will be the singer's only Australian date. Fans across Australia are being invited to apply for tickets via social networking by proving their dedication to the star. More inside!

Gaga's New Zealand record label, Universal, confirmed the pop star would not be extending her trip to New Zealand. She was last here for a headlining show in March, 2010. Gaga could include New Zealand in her world tour early next year, her label said.
